PRESSEDterms of service
PLACEHOLDER — for solicitor review before live payments.

Terms

Last drafted 2026-08-12. This page is a plain-English placeholder that stands in until a solicitor reviews it. Nothing here should be relied on as final legal terms while real payments are switched off.

What Pressed is

Pressed lets independent artists sell music directly to fans. When you buy a release, you own the files outright — there is no subscription rental, no algorithmic removal, no expiry. Monthly support subscriptions unlock an artist's gated feed for as long as the subscription is active.

Accounts

You sign in with an email magic link — no password. You must be 16 or older to create an account, confirmed at sign-in. Keep your inbox secure; anyone with access to it can access your account.

Receipts and tiers

Every purchase and paid subscription month issues a cryptographically signed receipt. Receipts are permanent and append-only — they are never edited or deleted, even if your account is closed. Your tier badge is calculated from these receipts and is visible only to you unless you choose to show it. See how tiers work.

Conduct and content

Don't upload or share content you don't have the rights to, don't harass other users, and don't abuse the platform's payment or verification systems. Artists moderate their own feeds; Pressed reviews reports and can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Copyright and takedowns

If you believe content on Pressed infringes your rights, use the takedown form to tell us. We review every claim and act on genuine ones.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. See the refunds page for how the digital-content waiver works.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
