PLACEHOLDER — for solicitor review before live payments.

Privacy

Last drafted 2026-08-12. Plain English, kept short. This is a placeholder pending solicitor review — the practices below reflect what the product actually does today.

Essential cookies only

At launch, Pressed sets one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on the site — not Google Analytics, not a pixel, nothing. Nothing you do on Pressed is sold or shared with data brokers.

What we collect

  • Your email address, to sign you in and email your receipts.
  • Purchase and subscription records, processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
  • Anything you choose to add: a display name, a handle, a profile visibility preference.
  • Signed receipts recording what you bought or supported — this is the core of the product, not an afterthought.

Who sees what

Receipts default to public verification (anyone with the link can check one is genuine), but the identifying details on a receipt only show if you've set your profile visibility to public. You control this from your account.

Your data, your control

From your account you can export everything we hold on you as a JSON file, or delete your account. Deleting anonymises your profile — your receipts stay, because they're part of an append-only record other people may have verified, but they're no longer linked to an identifiable name.

Who we share data with

Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in emails), and our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf to run the service. None of them use your data for their own marketing.
